Lisa Brown Alexander
Lisa has demonstrated success as an entrepreneur and business leader. In 2011, Lisa was named one of Washington DC’s Top 25 Minority Business Leaders by the Washington Business Journal. In July of 2012, Washington SmartCEO Magazine recognized Lisa as a 2012 Brava! Award winner. The Brava! Awards celebrate the distinguished achievements of 25 of Greater Washington's women business leaders. In March of 2016, she was named to the list Power50 Women awarded by Walker’s Legacy. She has served as President & CEO of a human resources management consulting firm since 2000 and prior to that served in a variety of executive level positions. She has also serves as Associate Producer of the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival since its inception in 2010 and serves on the Board of Directors of the DC Chamber of Commerce, the Prince Georges Cultural Arts Foundation and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Lisa served as the inaugural chairperson of the Upper Marlboro Arts Council from 2021-2023.
Kevin Alexander
Kevin brings a strong background in commercial and specialty insurance including over 30 years in surety bond underwriting. In 2018, he retired from his role as a Managing Director of Construction Services with a major insurance company where he brought strong financial and business management acumen to the partnership along with a solid understanding of the construction and related trade industries. Kevin has served as an active community leader in and around Prince George's County for more than 30 years, including his work on the board of directors of the Lake Arbor Foundation, the Prince George's Cultural Arts Foundation where he has served as President since 2011. Kevin also served with the Maryland National Capital Area Parks & Recreation Advisory Board from 2014-2017. Since 2010, Kevin has served as the creator and executive producer of the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival, one of the region's premier cultural events. He also serves on the advisory board of the Wammie Music Awards of Washington, DC.
